James Wills

James started playing the drums in the school band in the sixth grade. He also taught himself to play the guitar. In high school, a teacher suggested he learn music theory, saying someday you may want to write songs. So he took guitar and music classes. James has played in Oklahoma and Texas in several road bands, playing warm up for some major label acts. James can play an evening of original songs, telling stories of how he wrote some of his songs along with anecdotes of things that have happened around him. He can play an  eclectic mix of favorites, something to please everyone..
